Cardarine is a metabolic modulator that acts on the PPAR-delta pathway and stimulates fatty acid oxidation believed to cause lower blood lipid levels and increase glucose uptake in skeletal muscle tissues. It was initially developed as a potential treatment for various metabolic diseases and cardiovascular conditions. In 2013, it was studied in male rats with heart failure in a study published in the journal PLOS One. The study discovered that Cardarine enhanced cardiac function and reduced inflammation in rats, implying that it could be used to treat heart failure.
